This shoot features models performing mundane office tasks with an "ironic" parody twist, highlighting exaggerated expressions and over-the-top performances to emphasize the absurdity of office life. The concept relies on expressive and dynamic portrayals from the models to bring out humor and storytelling in a mundane setting.

Final Lookbook Project Briefing

This lookbook production brought together a team of 25+ creatives to execute two collections across dual minimalist sets. Models rotated between sets in tightly coordinated time slots, mimicking an assembly-line flow that reflected the structured yet fluid rhythm of the shoot day.

Alongside independent talent, agency-represented models brought additional range and professionalism to the casting, strengthening the overall impact of the presentation.

As Production Coordinator, Phuong Ngo managed the full scope of shoot-day logistics, from call times and model flow to real-time coordination between HMUA, stylists, and photographers, ensuring that every element aligned seamlessly to support the designer’s vision.

Set in an abandoned fabric store at the world’s end, two girls stage an impromptu tea party. “Zeitgeist”, or “the defining spirit of an era shaped by its ideas and beliefs”, captures the defining spirit of our time where excess and decay coexist.

Defined as “the spirit of an era shaped by its ideas and beliefs,” Zeitgeist reflects our time’s contradictions: an age of excess, consumerism, and aesthetic obsession, even as the world faces environmental and societal collapse.

A visual memoir of a body violated and ridiculed, this by far has been the most personal project that I have ever done. It explores the tension between rage and sorrow, identity and trauma.

Raw, fragmented imagery reflects this inner turmoil—distorted textures, stark contrasts, and undone compositions mirroring the chaos of breaking and healing. Beyond personal catharsis, this is a memo for every survivor—a space where pain is acknowledged, anger is valid, and healing is anything but linear.
